Full Moon in Aquarius: July 29, 2026

The Full Moon is exact
in the 7th degree of Aquarius
on July 29, 2026 at 9:36 am CDT.

As this Lunation expresses
the axis of the 5th and 11th Houses,
the Signs of Leo and Aquarius, respectively,
I might title this Full Moon
(and the greater cultural moment):
The Individual's Last-Stand

Jupiter and the Sun,
in their especially precise Conjunction (aka: Cazimi)
bolster the energy of the Individuated Being.
The true Leo spirit delights in the simple joy
of Being, of playing, of Creating.
It's the spirit of the 5th House -
Children, Romance, Recreation.

In the 11th House,
these phenomena are socialized.
The thrill of team-sports, of cultural memes,
of our shared remembering of,
and reveling in,
the Inner-Child.

Of course, this is also where we discover
that we cannot control the outcome.
Our personal failures, and successes,
do not ensure victories nor guarantee losses.
If you are on the team,
then you can directly influence the outcome,
but never control it.
One step further removed,
that of the fan in the crowd
or devotedly watching at home,
and there is only a desperate desire
that your doings matter.
The insisting
that if only you hadn't forgotten your lucky socks —
or swearing that
your ritualized eating of a hot-dog
surely impacted the outcome.
This is the Pisces layer,
the 12th House layer,
of this arena.

But in the Aquarius layer,
in the 11th House,
you do still make a concrete difference.

As the Jupiter-Sun Cazimi are in effect,
so too is a Conjunction
of the Full Moon and Pluto in Aquarius.
In its own right,
Pluto suggests a dimension of power
which is not readily discernible.
Not because it is small,
but because it operates at scales
we don't readily comprehend.

It's the power so vast,
you're forced to create an abstraction of it.
It's the power so minute,
your brain can't afford to not take it for granted.

So what we see here
is a profound showdown of these forces.
The polarization
of Individuality and Collectivity
is super-charged.
Add in the emotional layer of Leo:
Pride and Self-Aggrandizement,
as well as the material dimension of Aquarius:
Technology and Innovation,
and you can see why this moment
is so rife with meaning.
All the personal and sentimental work of Humanity
is being force-fed to Machines
which are gobbling up Individuality
and pumping out industrialized ideas and insights.

Is this merely the Democratization of Thought?
Or is this the sowing of seeds
which will destroy the mere possibility of Authenticity?

Complicating the picture
is the involvement of Neptune in Aries and Uranus in Gemini.
Neptune is well into a Retrograde cycle
as it forms a Trine with the Sun-Jupiter Cazimi.
Uranus, the ruling planet of Aquarius,
is forming a Trine with Pluto and the Full Moon.
And both of these,
Neptune and Uranus,
are likewise forming a Sextile with each other.

In short, Aries and Gemini are akin
to a more foundational expression
of the Individual-Collective dynamic.
Aries is the most basic expression of Selfhood.
Gemini, symbolized as The Twins,
is the most basic drive for companionship.

Neptune at its finest
gives us a clear vision, an ideal, to pursue.
At its most troublesome,
it invites us into delusion, fantasy,
or sublimation of our potency
into illusions and other forms of self-deception.

Uranus is sometimes described
as a higher-octave of Mercury,
the ruling planet of Gemini,
and it can indeed express a Mercurial tone.
On the one hand, it can swiftly deliver a miracle.
On the other, it is also known to pull the rug.

These four outer-planets:
Neptune in Aries, Uranus in Gemini,
Jupiter in Leo, Pluto in Aquarius —
each being notably interweaved
into the dynamic of this Full Moon,
give us an opportunity
to consider this Lunation as more than meets the eye.

Remember to look up.
Remember to look within.
Though it is true that you may reap what you sow,
you can only truly sow what you are.
